He is a consultant physician with special interest in Diabetes & critical care. He has passed MD (Medicine) from Surat Medical College in 1997. After that He has worked in Intensive Care Unit in Hinduja Hospital & Sir H.N. Hospital, Mumbai. He was Head of Department – Medicine and worked as a full time senior physician in Kasturba Multispeciality hospital, Valsad which is 240 bedded Multispeciality Hospital. He was awarded “Certificate in Diabetes” for having successfully completed the Distance Education course of one year in Diabetes, conducted by Prof. M. Viswanathan diabetes research Centre, Chennai, India, during July 2011 – June 2012. He has passed Post Graduate Diploma in “Geriatric Medicine” from IMA distance learning programme. Till now he has attended and participated various seminars, workshops & conferences in area of Diabetes in India as well as abroad. He has served many years as a member of executive body of IMA-Valsad branch. He was president and secretory of IMA- Valsad. At present he is a secretory of ISCCM, Valsad Branch. He is a Chairman of Utkarsh Health care India Pvt.Ltd and Medical Director of Lotus Hospital – 109 bedded multispecialty hospital, Valsad, Gujarat which is run by Utkarsh Healthcare India Pvt. Ltd.
